New Volunteer Training  1pm – 3:30pm Each Day
A series of 4 training sessions for anyone interested in becoming a Volunteer Tour Guide, Docent or Museum Store/Ticket Office attendant.  Sessions are entertaining and refreshments are served. Learn the Clay legacy and the skills necessary to be a great tour guide or store attendant.  Must be 18 or older. Background check required. 10am – 4pm
Free admission for children and students ages 18 and under. Cake served. 
11am- 4pm. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday, May 15 Girl Scout Garden Art Party – Scheduled through The Wilderness Road Girl Scout Council
 Sunday, May 16 Garden Art Party for Children ages 4-12 and Accompanying Adults.
From 1:00 to 3:00 we will serve refreshments, learn the Game of Graces, take a special garden and grounds tour and make paper flowers!

 Saturday, June 19 Annual Ashland Summer Lawn & Garden Party 6pm
Tented dinner, museum & garden open house, music, dancing and live auction on the lawn of the estate. Ashland’s premier fundraising event. Pre-paid reservations required. Sponsorships available. Individual tickets $90. Call 859-266-8581, Ext. 14.

Thursday, July 8 Ashland Family Festival of 19th Century Country Life10am – 2pm
Outdoor family event featuring various displays, demonstrations, hands-on children’s activities, period music, costumed interpreters, farm animals, and optional museum tours.  A celebration of Ashland life in the 19th century.    $6 per person. Friday, November  26  The Christmas Season Begins
Ashland will be beautifully decorated for the season from Friday, November 26 through Thursdayday, December 30.  Special seasonal merchandise will be available in the Museum Store.  Don’t miss the opportunity to experience Ashland at this special time of year.
